For multiple reasons rural area 911 response times incur delays. Our presentation prepares you to make the 911 system work better in an emergency. Medical Workshops
Our free 2-hour Medical Workshop covers CPR, AED, and basic First Aid. Learn and practice the skills so you’re able to react in a medical emergency until first responders arrive. Knowing what to do in an emergency saves lives. If your organization has 10 or more students, we can bring the Workshop to your location. Check our Happenings page for upcoming Workshops or email us at medical@lkgtaskforce.org.
Don’t forget, you can also contact your local volunteer fire department to inquire about certified CPR courses in your area. YOU ARE THE HELP UNTIL HELP ARRIVES!
Community Events
We raise awareness to save lives at public events preparing all before 911 HELP is needed. We share helpful tips and provide resources on how to interact with the 911 system to save precious time. To invite us to your upcoming event please email us a request.
Appreciation for First Responders
We have an appreciation team that serves our first responders in all five counties. They do so much for our communities and we like to show our appreciation.
You may help us by contributing by ordering from our 911 Appreciation Gift List (Amazon). Just add items to your cart, then make sure you choose “LKG 911 Community Task Force’s Gift Registry Address” for the shipping address. These items are used to put together gift baskets which are then delivered to our area dispatchers, EMS, firefighters and law enforcement personnel who dedicate themselves to public safety in our community.
