- Co-developed recommendations approved by the VA General Assembly to improve the existing 911 system. Participate on the Regional Advisory Committee (RAC) tasked to implement the 14 recommendations.
- Met with US Senators of North Carolina (Burr & Tillis) who acknowledged the need for change in the 911 system and their inability to effect legislation due to lack of data.
- Advocated for Virginia Delegate (Reid & Tyler) to sponsor the E-911 Border Response Bill and Governor approval.
- Virginia Delegate (Wachsmann) has become a proponent of advancing the 911 system shortfalls among other VA legislators.
- Incorporated June 2020 as official nonprofit having 90+ volunteers.
- Sponsored the first meeting of all five county Lake Gaston 911 emergency services stakeholders to identify issues and solve problems and continue to meet regularly.
- Educated over 10K LKG citizens preparing them before needing 911 help.
- Launched area awareness of precision locating app: what3words.
- Sponsored reflective dock permits with Dominion Energy.
- Advocated for complete Lake maps in all PSAPs which evolved to Andy Wells of Southside Planning Commission donating his time to develop interactive maps for PSAP and Emergency Responders.
- Engaged with Dominion Energy to connect dock location data with the interactive map to make Lake Gaston safer.
- Partnered with Vidant North to develop CPR, AED and First Aid workshops we provided for free.
- Aligned with the Lake Gaston Water Safety Council and Lake Gaston Association (LGA) to jointly share the same 911 safety message.
- Partnership with Helping Hands and Hearts LKG and Roanoke Valley to provide reflective signs to those receiving disability ramps to access their homes.
- Advocated for reflective name signs on all bridges on Lake Gaston.
- Launched appreciation program for area first responders.
